We're managing to get some of our photos onto the website - so have a look if you wish!
We've had a couple of bits of bad news - Godfrey from Sinamatella in Hwange (Zimbabwe) let us know a few weeks ago about poachers who had poisoned an entire herd of elephants for the tusks of just a few - and to divert attention they had started a large bush fire elsewhere. It seems that they've caught some of them - but the organisers and dealers will probably have got away - there really are some evil people in the world who could do with some of their own "medecine" being administered to them (ie cyanide or strychnine).
Then Jocky from Misuku let us know that a part of the forest has been deliberately burnt - again the perpetrators appear to have been caught and fined - seems they wanted to plant cash crops in the forest. Luckily the general concensus around Misuku seems to be that the forest is a valuable asset and is well protected, so hopefully this won't happen again too soon. The main part of the forest seems ok, so don't let this put anyone off visiting - it's a great place and you'll be assured of a warm welcome!
