Sue cleaned me up, cutting large quantities of hair away, stuck bandage all over the area and told me to sit down and do nothing. This worked for about 5 minutes - she had to get me a book to read to stop me doing something else. So, nothing else was done until late afternoon when I spent an hour or so fiddling with the lock until it finally opened, I now understand (I think) what is going on, so we'll be able to open and close the door, albeit with some difficulty until the new lock arrives.
Tomorrow we'll get ready to backtrack to Oppi-Koppi where we should be able to receive and fit the new lock.
We'll need to travel back through Rundu, but I really don't want to have to go into this town ever again!
