Back to the truck at last!!!!!
I've been allowed to stop sorting the house and get back to working on the Mog!
It took a whole day to sort out all the stuff that I'd loaded into the box for the journey down - even then it took me another 2 days to find the screws, bolts, brackets etc that were pretending to be a router!
I've uploaded a few more photos of the interior to the "preparation" photo album as a record of where we are today - it looks a bit of a shambles still, but it's definitely work in progress again.
We are still dithering about the choice of water filter - we have the choice of an expensive filter that will remove everything from the drinking water but leave the shower and all other cold water "at risk", or a VERY expensive filter that will do the whole system. It's not holding us up yet - but a decision has to be taken soon.
The timescale is now looking worrying - winter is coming and crossing Turkey in freezing conditions isn't my idea of fun - add to that the secession elections in Southern Sudan in early January and the desire (need?) to be out of the hot areas before March and we're wondering if a replan isn't going to be needed...... Watch this space.
